Philosophy
Calm.
Organised.
A creative director who found yoga through pain.
My name is Kamal Bhatnagar. I spent years as a Creative Director in the Indian and French advertising industry before a physical injury changed the direction of everything.
What began as a search for pain management became a complete transformation — physically, emotionally, and professionally. I now teach the method that rebuilt me: disciplined, therapeutic, and direct.
The practice here is not decorative. It is designed to work.

Less performance.
More precision.
Yoga is not a performance art. It is a tool for rebuilding the relationship between body and mind — slowly, methodically, and with genuine attention to what the body actually needs.
Hathayasa is grounded in therapeutic intelligence, traditional lineage, and a refusal to reduce practice to aesthetics.
"The body does not lie. The practice should not either."
Pain management
Yoga as an evidence-informed approach to chronic pain, injury recovery, and sustainable movement.
Emotional healing
Mental strength, self-acceptance, and renewed purpose through therapeutic practice and mindfulness.
Personal growth
Guided self-reflection, introspection, and reconnection with your own capacity for change.
Retreats
Immersive practice.
Real rest.
Quiet, organized immersion.
Hathayasa retreats are built for healing and self-care through yoga, meditation, authentic movement, and nourishing Ayurvedic food. Not theatre — structure.
Testimonials
What students say.
"I came with chronic back pain and no idea where to start. Kamal was direct, practical, and completely focused on what my body actually needed. Three months later I am pain-free."
"The 21-day reset was genuinely transformative. Not in a vague wellness sense — I mean structurally, physically. I sleep better, move better, and breathe better."
"Kamal teaches with real authority and zero excess. The Hatha classes are clear, well sequenced, and never feel like a performance. Exactly what I needed."
